Our management team represents over 70 years of aviation operations, management, business and finance experience. Our experience covers the entire spectrum of aircraft operated (single engine to business class turbines) and type of operation (private usage to leasing to charter).

Tom Cargin

TOM CARGIN

Tom Cargin has over 30 years of experience in financial and business management, including over 18 in the commercial aviation industry. After earning his accounting degree from Missouri Southern State College, Mr. Cargin served in various public and private accounting positions. During this time he developed extensive financial and business management skills serving growing private and public companies. His financial management experience includes securing financing for acquisitions and growing working capital needs, to public offerings, private equity offerings, international contracts and financing, and financial reporting.

A pilot since age 16, Mr. Cargin used the opportunity to purchase the assets of Air Associates of Kansas, Inc. in 2002 to pursue his passion for aviation and formed Air Associates of Kansas which under his leadership has become a full service fixed base operator on Johnson County Executive Airport (OJC) in Olathe, KS. Air Associate provides aircraft management, charter, maintenance, storage, aircraft rental and instruction services. Air Associates is a Cessna Pilot Center (utilizing the latest in Cessna training aircraft and training techniques) and a Cessna Service Center providing warranty and maintenance services on Cessna Single Engine aircraft.

Over time, Mr. Cargin has developed strong relationships with the financial, insurance, and legal communities. His strong operational background, combined with his business, sales and marketing experience, provide him with a distinct perspective and understanding of business aviation.

BRITTANY JESKA

Director of Charter Department

Brittany Jeska has been with Air Associates for more than 12 years. She was named the Director of the Charter Department in February 2022. Prior to that she worked as part of the Charter team and in the mapping department.

Over time, Mr. Cargin has developed strong relationships with the financial, insurance, and legal communities. His strong operational background, combined with his business, sales and marketing experience, provide him with a distinct perspective and understanding of business aviation.

SEAN LINDSEY

Director of Operations

Sean Lindsey joined Air Associates in March 2022 as a Captain bringing 13,500+ hours of flying time. He was named the Director of Operations in January 2023. Prior to Air Associates he worked as a Corporate Pilot for Midwest Transplant Network Petroleum Helicopters Inc, Meisinger Aviation and Executive Beechcraft.

SUSAN LEGRAND

Chief Pilot

Susan LeGrand has been with Air Associates since January 2017. Susan was named Chief Pilot in September 2022. She earned her Pilots license through the Flight School at Air Associates, became a Flight Instructor with Air Associates and quickly rose to a PIC position.

KURT HOLDEN

Chief Operating Officer

Kurt joined the Air Associates team as the Chief Operating Officer in 2023. With more than 38 years of aviation, charter and aircraft management experience, we are fortunate to have him helping to develop and drive our strategic vision going forward.

ANNA LINDQUIST

Lead Charter Coordinator

Anna Lindquist joined Air Associates in 2011 as a Customer Service representative. She quickly became integral to the Charter Operations as a Charter Coordinator. She serves as a back-up when needed to the Director of the Charter Department.

FLOYD VILES

Acting Director of Maintenance

Floyd Viles was hired by Air Associates in March of 2022 as an Aviation Technician. Prior to joining Air Associates, Floyd was a Maintenance Engineering Supervisor for Flowers Food. He has extensive experience in both civilian and military aviation. He was named the Acting Director of Maintenance in April.

JONNA BRANDEL

Human Resources Manager

Jonna Brandel has been with Air Associates providing HR support since August 2021. As a member of the management team, she is responsible for talent acquisition, employee relations, new hire onboarding, the Safety Management team, as well as assisting with payroll and benefits. Prior to joining Air Associates Jonna worked as a Risk Management Consultant for 15 years and as an Human Resources Consultant for 9 years.

FRED TIMBERLAKE

CFO

Fred joined Air Associates in April 0f 2022 to manage the accounting function for Air Associates. Fred has more than 35 years of experience as a financial and operational leader in a variety of industries, including Fortune 500-sized publicly traded firms and privately owned businesses.
